Ang Noh Noodle House

Stall 3A, Staff Canteen Level 3M
Airport Boulevard, Changi Airport Terminal 2 - Public Area
Singapore 918146
Staff Canteen Opening Hours: Mon to Fri 7am - 8pm
Sat, Sun & PH 7am - 9pm
This stall just open at Terminal 2, its headquarter Hong Mao Mian Jia 红毛面家 is located at 182 Joo Chiat Road(Singapore 427453). During its previous heyday at 128 Tembeling Road, the waiting time can be 45 mins! The owner then is rumored to look like an Eurasian so everyone called him Ang Mo Wanton Mee Seller. Currently the owner at  Joo Chiat used to work as an executive chef at Park Royal. I like the wanton mee and wanton which, I find it rather good. The char siew is so so. But S$3(staff price) for a bowl of good wanton noodle where to find?
S$3.00 signature wanton noodle
Mushroom and chicken feet S$3.00
Beef Brisket Noodle S$3.50
The beef brisket noodle is good but the Ngoh Hiang is so so. The mushroom and chicken feet is delicious and the chicken feet is very well braised such that the skin just falls off the bone when your teeth sink into it.

Eng's Noodle House

287 Tanjong Katong Road, Singapore 437070
Tel: 8688 2727
11am to 9pm
The noodle iteself is QQ(al dente), the wanton is so full of flavor and juicy. I particularly like the wanton skin which is very soft and wet. For those who drive you can either park beside the main road or behind which has a public car park. The best thing about this restaurant is the chilli which is quintessential of a good wanton noodle. It is super hot and just wet your hair instantly. In fact when I was paying the supervisor asked me whether his shop has a roof leak.
Parking at the side of the main road

Dry Wanton Noodle S$4, boiled wanton S$3
Fried Wanton S$3

Fried Pork Lard

Refreshing and thirst quenching barley S$1.50

This is the magic that is quintessential of a good wanton noodle. According to the owner, this sauce is made from dried chilli from India. This sauce causes my sweat glands to have a Fukushima Daiichi leak. Fried pork lard is also really awesome, it is not just fats but attached to it are small strands of meat. The best part of it, it is free-flow!

Fei Fei Wanton Noodle

62 Joo Chiat Place
Sin Wah Coffeshop
Tel: 6345 7515

This wanton stall opens 24 hours. In fact there are 2 Fei Fei Wanton Noodle along Joo Chiat Place. Both are the same. If early in the morning while the sky is still pitch dark and you carve for a good bowl of wanton noodle this should be the only place in Singapore you can get a good wanton noodle. It is best to eat the wanton noodle dry with lots of chilli. It is not among the best wanton noodle stalls in Singapore but I would nevertheless consider it famous.
