Ole Sayang Restaurant

198-199, Taman Melaka Raya, 75000 Melaka
Tel: 06-2831966
Closed on Wednesday

The thing about Melakka or Malacca is that there are quite a couple of Nonya restaurants around. And this is one of them. The number of Chinese in particular nonya(baba) is quite high. All around the streets are clean and proper the hygiene level is also relatively high.

curry chicken

chap chye

The curry chicken is the dry kind and the sauce is spicy and hot. Very good to go with the rice. Fermented bean curd (aka ‘nam yee or 豆腐乳) for the chap Chye is not too strong hence for those that can't take nam yee it is acceptable.
Fried omelette
Sambal petai and crispy
Sambal Kang Kong
Otak Otak
Sambal fried fish

Quite a lot of people patronize the restaurants. The sambal belacan if you need more it is $2 ringgit each. But it is really hot and spicy. For those that like spicy food. This is the restaurant that you should visit when in Malakka. The menu doesn't have pork. I am not sure whether it is halal or not.
