Kok Sen Restaurant

No 30-32 Keong Saik Road Singapore 089137, Tel:6223 2005
Business: 11.30am to 2.30pm
3.30pm to 11.30pm
This restaurant is located at the heart of the oldest red-light district, even older than Geylang. This restaurant is slightly more expensive than the first Zhi Char restaurant along Keong Saik Road. But I personally find that the food is better and the taste is much better.
Fried beef with spring onions and fried kai lan with garlic
Black beans with bitter gourd and pork ribs
Their specialty claypot yong tau fu
Steamed Fish - very fresh and nice
Chilli Crabs
The crabs is fresh that the meat is sweet. The crab shell is full of crab roes
A meal like this costs SGD124.80. Melly likes the braised black bean with bitter gourd and pork ribs. So far whole Singapore this restaurant serves this dish the best! The fish is also very fresh and the way they steamed the fish is also unique when cooks with vegetables. The claypot yong tau fu is a signature dish of the restaurant. Each yong tau fu is filled with real prawns and pork. They used brinjal, lady's finger, beancurd to make the yong tau fu.This restaurant also use alot of diced gingers as ingredients for their dishes. For parking, you can park directly in front of the restaurant. It occupies 2 shop houses.
