Operating Hours: 9.30am to 5.30pm

In Kuala Lumpur, satay or sate is one of the must try. The most famous satay in Malaysia is in Kajang. The last time I tried the satay is about 6 to 7 years back. This restaurant is not the best but among the most popular ones. Some say the cucumber actually wards off the cancerous effect of satay hence it is advisable to eat cucumer while eating satay.
Ketupat(rice dumpling) and cucmber

Gravy
Chicken,beef and lamb
Mee goreng

Bee Hoon Goreng

Personally I find the mee and bee hoon goreng is very mediocre. The satays were fantastic, no fats or loose meats were used. They used chunks of lean meats.

The Coastal Settlement

The Coastal Settlement, 200 Netheravon Road, Singapore 508529
Tel: 64750200
Fax: 64720200
It is a casual dining restaurant that is located very near to commando camp. The ambiance is very kampong-like. The owner puts alot of effort in the interior decoration. It as a good place to bring customers to chill out. There are indoor and outdoor areas. The good thing about this restaurant when compare to the rest is it has large in-door area which is air-con and can take 140 to 150 pax. It serves western and local food-fare. It also serves beers as well.
 Portobello Fries SGD15
Beef Mushroom Pizza SGD23
Rosti Sausage SGD16
I find the rosti abit oily but the sausage is so full of cheese. When I sliced it one drop of hot cheese just spluttered on my spectacle. The beef mushroom pizza is crispy and very well-done.
Alot of efforts are spent on the interior deco. Just look at the old motocycles on display. Outside the restaurant you can also find a few antique cars. There is a parking lots just outside the restaurant.
this is not an antique shop but a restaurant!
Really feel like back into the 60s or 70s restaurant in old Chinatown.
