No 814/816 North Bridge Road, Singapore 198779
Tel: 6297 9319
This restaurant is really situated at the corner of North Bridge Road. There are 2 shop units there is also a 2nd storey which is air-conditioned. I used to be from Nan Hua Secondary School, so coming to this famous fish head restaurant brings back alot of memory during my secondary school days. Parking wise quite alot of people park at the double yellow lines besides the restaurant. There is also a open air public car park behind this restaurant.

The food menu those recommended dishes there are notations on the menu
Braised Pig Intestine one of the recommended dish
Fried Beancurd one of the commended dish
The pork chop is also nice
Fish Steamboat
The fish steamboat is the highlight of the dinner. The steamboat uses charcoal to heat up. The fish slices portion is also generous and come in big pieces like the one below.

Homebaked Dough

Homebaked Dough, Tanjong Pagar Plaza Block 1 #02-04,
Stall 3 of Teck Kee Coffeshop
Been there on saturday and sunday after hearing the fame but apparently this stall doesn't open on weekends, only weekday. The owners are 2 very good-looking, fair and well toned male twin(reckon they are twin). I didn't mange to try the cookies, cakes or chicken from the stall because prior to that I tried the nasi briyani from the same coffeshop.
SGD$6 bowl of ramen
The soup base is very tasty neither too salty nor make you very thirsty. Yes, for SGD$6 you get a great ramen with Chao Shao and a whole egg, where to find ramen price at such price in the middle of CBD?
Noodle is very thin and QQ

I went to this Thai buffet restaurant at Killiney Road with Melly, my brother and his wife over the weekend. For buffet they have 2 pricing. Below is the pricing.
This is the cheaper buffet menu which is S$20,9++ per pax for weekend dinner
This is the more expensive buffet menu which is S$26.90 per pax for weekend dinner
Compare the 2 menu, the one that is more expensive has a whole fish, pan-fried king prawns and Thai-rice cracker with minced chicken & prawn paste. I took the S$20.90 per pax menu.
The Thai fried rice is good
Mango salad is the best with peanut and minced dry shrimps
Chicken satays
Pandan Chicken
Fried Chicken wings with pork fillings

Green curry chicken
Fried Seafood(Squid, prawns and fish slice)

Basil leaves and minced pork
The service is good. They also have a small area where you can get a small selection of fruits, red-ruby with coconut and steam tapioca.
